Your help is urgently needed to help maintain Joy Orphanage in Kamuli, Uganda. They depend solely on donations to care for 40 to 50 children affected by HIV/AIDS.

URICT Joy Orphanage was co-founded in 2005 by Andrew Gabula, who is still the director.

The first major project was a sanitary bathroom. At first they only had a pit latrine (a hole in the earth to use the bathroom). It had become infected and many children were hospitalized. A few of the children died.

A clean water system was completed in 2014. A security wall around the compound was finished in 2015. It is 10 feet high and was built to keep the children safe. In 2015 there were many medical emergencies, and this year, Mr. Gabula had a kidney transplant. In spite of this he, along with volunteers, have kept the orphanage open.

Due to the decrease of two major contributors, they need our help. With 200 donors contributing only $10 monthly that will keep the orphanage open.
