Khayelitsha Cookies would like to create more jobs in South Africa by expanding and purchasing a farm where fresh vegetables and fish will be grown. Please assist this worthy cause by donating any amount to create more jobs

We are a bakery in Cape Town South Africa who creates jobs for previously unemployed women from Khayelitsha, then train them up to hand bake and hand pack cookies at our Food Safety Accredited factory in Maitland.  We would like to add another small business to our profile where we will grow fresh vegetables and farm fish, to enable more unemployed people to get affirming jobs in South Africa. With a country where more than 40% of our youth is fed through food feeding schemes, every job created feeds at least 5 children daily. Currently we employ just under 90 staff, and the farm will assist that we can have a huge staff vegetable garden from which our staff can collect as much vegetables as they want, and the other part of the farm will be used to harvest vegetables to sell to local retailers, and some vegetables in our new cookie range. The entire project is going to cost R36 million, and we desperately need funding to relocate our current cookie factory, and add the new farm to our stable of creating more jobs. Please visit our website for more detail around Khayelitsha Cookies. The website will soon have the pictures of the farm project on as well.
